Our client GAEA AI announced a landmark partnership with leading commercial insurance broker Acurisk, aimed at integrating GAEA AI’s cutting-edge Large Geotemporal Model (LGM) technology into the insurance sector. The collaboration will bring advanced AI-driven insights into spatial and temporal risk analysis, enabling Acurisk to deliver more sophisticated underwriting, smarter pricing, and enhanced risk mitigation strategies. AZJ Legal advised GAEA AI in connection with this transaction, including the drafting of the partnership agreement. Our role involved ensuring that the agreement reflected the complex issues central to AI collaborations, including intellectual property ownership, data licensing and usage rights, confidentiality, liability allocation, and governance of the partnership. We worked closely with GAEA AI’s senior management to secure a contractual framework that protects their proprietary technology while enabling the commercial objectives of the partnership to be achieved.
